Specialty Retail 2023-08-18: -1 to "AVERAGE" strength rating (5th strongest of 9 levels), previous move was UP

Previous review of Specialty Retail is available here.
Apparel stores with 22 stocks fell two strength levels to Average (5th strongest of 9 levels), erasing 5 weeks of strengthening. The three leaders ranked Strongest in this sub-industry are ANF/Abercrombie & Fitch, ROST/Ross Stores, and URBN/Urban Outfitters. Meanwhile, only CATO/The CATO Corporation has the Weakest rating.
Specialty Retail, Other (the largest with 24 stocks) weakened to Weak (6th strongest of 9 levels), putting it back to its level from 5 weeks ago. The Strongest (highest-rated) stocks here are ODP/The ODP Corporation, BOOT/Boot Barn Holdings Inc., and W/Wayfair. Meanwhile, there are 11 stocks with the Weakest rating, 6 of which weakened to this rating this week.
CVNA/Carvana has been a focus in previous reviews given its amazing run off its bottom late last year. Since its recent July 19, 2023 peak the stock is down 30%. (Still a 954% rise from its December 27, 2022 trough.) Perhaps amazingly, there are two other Specialty Retail stocks which have fallen more during this period - WSH/ContextLogic and DRVN/Driven Brands Holdings, which were -43% and -46%, respectively.

Leaders and Laggards
Current strongest and weakest stocks are shown below. These are of most interest as the downtrodden are prone to large (if perhaps temporary) pops while the strongest have been leading the charge for their sub-industries.
