You may know more than anybody else. But everybody knows more than anybody - including you. If ever, I will always be the last to know why anything happened, and by then it will be too late to do anything specific about it. The best I can do is track what The Market - aka Everybody - thinks about stocks, sub-industries, industries, sectors, and the overall market. And from that study, determine ahead of time exactly what I will do at any given time during any market environment so I am never "winging" it. Thus I will always be systematically and consistently objective when opening, managing, and closing positions.
