Health Services 2023-07-18: +1 to "Strong" strength rating (4th strongest of 9 levels), previous move was down
Health Services for the trading week ending 2023-07-18. Strengthening is obvious.

Good week for this industry with six of eight sub-industries strengthening. Is this the first step in a multi-week/month rally? I don't know and never make predictions, but the first step to 100% returns is one up week. Given the underlying stocks, I don't see here a likelihood of 100% returns as compared to other industries/sub-industries... but then again there were seven stocks with double-digit returns last week, topped off by a healthy 41% jump by GDRX/GoodRx Holdings in Specialized Health Services. (Apparently due to an agreement with CVS Health.)

RCEL/Avita Medical in Medical Appliances & Equipment had its own strong 27% jump, while four other Medical Appliances & Equipment enjoyed double-digit returns:  TNDM/Tandem Diabetes Care, MDXG/Mimedx Group, INMD/INMODE Ltd, and TMDX/TransMedics Group. Perhaps this is a sub-industry which SHOULD be a focal point?

Per the Leaders and Laggards graphic at the bottom of this post, there are many stocks which just this week reached the Strongest rating. This can mark a reasonable point to flag for stocks of potential interest, as it may be the first step toward larger gains. NOTE this will NOT lead to bottom-ticking, it is solely for stocks that by definition have already started moving up, thus these will not be attractive to the Value crowd.

The largest of these sub-industries are all currently Strong or Average strength with their most recent moves being up/strengthening.

Leaders and Laggards

Current strongest and weakest stocks are shown below. These are of most interest as the downtrodden are prone to large (if perhaps temporary) pops while the strongest have been leading the charge for their sub-industries.

Many Strongest stocks with many more that just this past week reached the Strongest rating.
