This apparently was not an April Fool's weekend trick.

Saving this here to re-visit at some point. What will be the impact of these cuts on energy stocks?

Other than Oil & Gas Drilling & Exploration, the remaining five Energy sub-industries strengthened over the two weeks prior to the weekend of the production cuts announcement.

These sub-industries weakened over the past month/two months but have strengthened over the past two weeks heading into the production cuts announcement weekend.
